DIY: Easy Boho End tables/stool

I am always looking for things to beautify a room. Because I am all about colorful prints, I decided to use an inexpensive but beautiful print I had laying around the house for this project.

I love a good deal. I got both tables from someone selling them on FB for $25. These are Ikea stools and they are currently listed for $14.99 each in my area. So basically, I saved myself $10 and the time spent to assemble them.

Expertise needed: Moderate level. You need to be comfortable with a heavy duty stapler.

Time spent: About 30-minutes altogether.

Cost: Since I already had the fabric at home and the pillow, it only cost me $25 for the stools.

Feedback: I LOVE the way they turned out!

You will need: Stool/side table, fabric of choice, scissors, pillow stuffing (if you have seat, that would work perfectly as well. Although, it might make for a stuffier "table"), heavy duty stapler.

Assemble your fabric to make sure you have enough. Then flip the stools over to see the surface area you'll be working with. You want to make sure you'll be able to tuck in some of the fabric where needed.

I have a pillow at home that I got specifically to use for projects. I just opened it up and use the stuffing whenever I need it. Talk abotu $5 going a long way!

Everything is assembled together. I used pinking shears but you don't need them. Any good cutting fabric scissors will do.

Step 1: Place the stuffing on the table and evenly distribute it.

Step 2: You can make it as thick or as thin as you want it. I didn't want mine too thick because I want people to be able to place cups on the tables without fear of it tipping over.

Step 3: Place the fabric on the ground, place the stuffing on the fabric and then place the stool over everything. See below picture.

Step 4: Staple away!

Since I was using leftover fabric, I had to use cut outs hence the line in the center. I kinda like the design it added.

Finished product! Took less than 30-minutes to do both stools!

How beautiful are these? VERY!!! And the best part is that you can use ANY fabric of your choosing to make one of these for your home.
